heard a piece of gd news on saturday.. hahaz.. hm.. frankly speaking, i'm really vvv happy for him cos he's really q nice. think it was a little too sudden but i'm seriously not surprised. saw him studying dis few days den i feel v xin1 wei4 also cos i was v worried dat he wun study but now i dun hafta worry anymore :)
think for the past yr or so, we kinda more or less got to noe each others' character. sumtimes i dun even rem the things i'v said b4 until he said so. guess we'v really gone a longlong way in a sense. but i guess it's nv going to b possible for us to b normal frens cos it's not natural alr. it does feel a bit weird now cos the situation is so different in such a short time. hahaz
luking back, the most innocent part of the frenship was when i just joined the team when we used to sit at the grandstand on tues after sch to wait for team meeting to start. after dat, things got too complicated den everything changed. but i'm glad all dat has come to a happy ending
anw, the team took part in SDBF during the weekend and got 1st for the men's 24crew open, 2nd in women's 12crew, 2nd n 3rd in the 24crew mixed race. not sure if it's a good result since yong wasnt happy abt it but i think every1 whacked hard n we'v tried our best even if we made mistakes
during debrief, ben said sths dat i tot were really meaningful: "dun think u'r gd when u can b better. dun think u'r fast when u can b faster." yong also said sth dat i lyked: "if u wan everything, u'll end up with nth." such words of wisdom.. hahaz :)
msged ben after dat den the things he said really touched me. think he's really a vvv gd fren to haf. to me, he's lyk peiling.. a gd fren who's always arnd when i nid sum1 even though we may not talk v often. but when we do talk, it's always v nice n heartwarming to do all the catching up n stuffs.
anw he was thanking me for "being such a wonderful friend" when i dun think i did much. hahaz.. he said: "i treasure friendship alot. nothing can beat that. just want to let my best friend know that i appreciate and cherish her for her presence. thank her for being her." din noe he considers me as his best fren.. i'm truly v honoured
